Please note that there is only 1 of each kit shown - it may be possible to order more of a particular colorway, but this should not be confused with matching a dyelot or duplicating an existing kit. Each is unique, individually handcrafted, one-of-a-kind and ultimately very beautiful.

$24.00

Each Diamond Fantasy Scarf Kit contains:

Merino Wool: 100% merino wool, machine washable 320m/350yds; 100g/3.52oz

Sivia Harding's complete 6-page pattern for her Diamond Fantasy Scarf or Shawl, including both line-by-line and charted instructions and full color photo of finished scarf (shown above).

Suggested needle size: 3.75mm/US 5 circular needle (or size to achieve correct gauge) for shawl body; 5mm/US 8 double pointed needles for I-cord edging

Need needles? We have them here.

We are so pleased to be able to offer a kit based on Sivia Harding's beautiful lacey scarf design. Sivia is a modern fiber artist whose designs combine an exquisite use of lace with an enthusiasm that is like a fresh breeze on a sunny morning. Her Diamond Fantasy Scarf (shown above, a smaller version of her Diamond Fantasy Shawl) is a great place to start if you have never knit a lace garment before -- if you are an old hand at lace knitting, you'll love her exuberent use of the pattern, and the novel design which has you knitting the lace edge as you go along. The best part, of course, is that when you're done, you can wrap yourself in a filigree of color!
